Description
Joint Milling Discs – Ø125 for Extremely Hard Joints
Our Ø125 mm joint milling discs are specially designed for milling out extremely hard joints with high cement content, such as functional mortar FM5 and cement-containing KC mortar. These discs feature a robust, diamond-segmented grinding material of 12 mm, ensuring long life and effective milling performance when other options are not sufficient.
Available in widths of 6 mm, 8 mm, and 10 mm, they fit most standard angle grinders with a 22 mm bore size.
Advantages of Joint Milling Discs:
✅ Exceptional Durability: The high amount of diamond-coated grinding material (12 mm) gives the disc a long lifespan and optimal performance for hard joints.
✅ Effective Heat Dissipation: The narrow neck of the segments prevents overheating and extends the service life.
✅ Carbide Cleaning Segments: Reduce wear and increase durability when used on hard, cement-rich joints.
Application of the Joint Milling Disc:
These joint milling discs are ideal for removing hard joints with a high cement content, such as functional mortar FM5 and KC mortar. They can be used both dry and wet, depending on the task. Thanks to the thick diamond layer, they can also handle the most demanding joints.
Note:
The joint milling discs are specifically designed for hard joints. For softer, porous joints, joint milling pins are recommended, as the discs tend to wear out faster on these types of joints.
Safety and Recommendations for Use:
For optimal milling depth and safety, we recommend using a metal joint milling shoe, which protects both the user and the disc. The metal milling shoe keeps the segments in place at high speeds and prevents them from loosening upon contact with hard materials.
